Resolving the HIO App Notification Issue

Purpose

This article provides step-by-step instructions to resolve a recurring notification issue in the HIO App that causes the application to close unexpectedly when a notification is either accepted or cancelled.


Procedure

1. Navigate to the Main Screen

  • Minimize or close any open applications.

  • Return to the main screen of the device.


2. Access App Settings

  1. Open Settings on the device.

  2. Select Apps.

  3. Locate and tap HioPos Cloud.


3. Clear Storage and Cache

  1. Select Storage & Cache.

  2. Tap Clear Storage.

  3. Tap Clear Cache.

AlertNote: Clearing storage will sign you out of the application and remove locally stored data.


4. Reopen the HIO App

  • Launch the HIOPOS App.

  • When prompted, sign in with your credentials.

5. Complete Post-Login Prompt

After signing in, a password-related prompt will appear with two options:

  • Continue

  • Replace

✔ Select REPLACE to proceed.


6. Verify Correct Park Selection

  • Confirm you are signing into Wildlife Habitat.

  • Do not select any other park locations.
